Phoebe Bridgers Fans Cry Foul Over Ticketmaster Presale with Error Codes, Long Queues

Fans of Phoebe Bridgers are calling out Ticketmaster after the indie star’s presale left them empty-handed.

Bridgers just announced nine new dates on “The Lost Tour” this fall, including gigs in Chicago, Inglewood, Brooklyn, and Nashville. An Artist Presale took place over two days — June 9 and 10 — for those who preregistered and received a code. Yet fans who made it into the sale faced several issues with Ticketmaster’s virtual queue system. Fans complained of thousands of others flooding the queue, making it impossible to even enter the sale. Those who did make it to the check-out page were shocked by the prices.

Bridgers’ fans aren’t alone; from Olivia Rodrigo and Sabrina Carpenter to Sleep Token and Ghost, fans have lashed-out at Ticketmaster for the same scenario. Fans trying to purchase tickets to any big-name act on Ticketmaster are stuck struggling through the ticketer’s online queue, face error codes and long-wait times. Then, when they finally reach checkout (if they ever do) those tickets are gone — or priced so high that fans just give up.
