Morrissey Plots U.S. Tour in Support of Latest Record

Morrissey is officially set to hit the road again this summer and fall across the U.S. in support of his latest record, Make-Up Is a Lie.

The trek will kick-off with a four-show run in Las Vegas from August 14 to 18, followed by appearances in El Paso, Tempe, Louisville, and Brooklyn. He’ll stop at Lowell Memorial Auditorium, Washington D.C.’s The Anthem, and the Don Haskins Center in El Paso before wrapping-up at Huntington Beach’s Darker Waves Festival on November 14. Following the U.S. shows, Morrissey is scheduled to perform at Forest National in Brussels on New Year’s Eve.

Tickets for the newly-announced shows will be available starting with an artist pre-sale on Wednesday, April 29th at 12 p.m. local time, followed by a Live Nation pre-sale for select dates on Thursday, April 30th at 12 p.m. local time. A general on-sale is set for Friday, May 1 at 12 p.m. local time here.

Morrisey’s tour, however, comes with a warning: cancellations may be in the near future. The former Smiths singer is notorious for cancelling shows — raking up to over 200 cancellations since 2012. Last year, he nixed his remaining South American dates citing “extreme exhaustion.” Additionally, two shows were called-off in September due to a “credible” death threat, and earlier in 2025, he cancelled his European trek after a member of his band sustained an injury.

Make-Up Is a Lie, Morrissey’s 14th studio album, dropped last month. The LP, which features “You’re Right, It’s Time,” alongside the title track, marks his first record since 2020’s I Am Not a Dog on a Chain.
